Your Impact: Accuracy, Efficiency & Insights

At Loop, finance is more than just meeting deadlines—it’s about ensuring precision, uncovering valuable insights, and enhancing financial decision-making for the group. In this role, you will take ownership of making sure that our vendors’ invoices funnel gets processed and recorded correctly - in order to have them paid on time by the Accounts Payable team - and manage/coordinate escalations. You have an analytical mindset to analyze related financial data and provide valuable insights towards KPI reporting. Where necessary you will also support the other Accountants in day-to-day tasks and in closings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Our invoice funnel is accurately and timely processed, to ensure accurate recording of daily transactions.
• Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation & approvals prior to payment and use of Purchase Orders for invoice booking where applicable.
• Review and action promptly on all A/P balances, mismatching, invoices on-hold, refunds & adjustments keeping pressure for quick resolutions.
• Maintain a log of all invoices that can't be processed to ensure correct booking of monthly accrual for not approved invoices & expected costs
• Prepare the accurate ageing balances including weekly progress reports.
• Ensuring that vendor files and master data and related documentation is monitored in accordance with company policy and accounting practices
• Timely and adequately responding to all the internal queries / tickets and external queries and communicate effectively with stakeholders within and outside of Loop.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance these processes and systems to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Assist in the monthly and yearly closings which may involve in-depth reconciliation of credit cards, accruals, provisions, intercompany accounts, bank statements and other payment methods.

Your Key Competencies:

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role in an international company.
• Hands-on experience with SAP. Knowledge of Exact Online or QuickBooks is a plus
• Has a solid accounting and accounts payable knowledge, with attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy at all levels.
• Ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships with Accounting and business stakeholders.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset that signals opportunities to optimize our financial processes.
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
